Basic Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old (BPC Section 7582.8)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
  • Undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (BPC Sections 7581 and 7583.9)
  • Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Must be physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Good judgment and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Reliable and punctual.
  • Previous experience in security or related fields is preferred but not required.
